Golf
in Cyprus
This beautiful Mediterranean island, long a favorite with
travelers due to its excellent climate and fine scenery,
is now gaining a reputation among those wishing to play
golf in Cyprus. There are presently five major golf courses
on the island; these courses meet the needs of first-time
players and full time aficionados.
Besides playing golf in Cyprus, one might like to explore
the many village taverns to sample local mezze, seek out
the culinary delights of the many cafes and restaurants,
visit historic sites, try a bit of retail therapy in the
shopping districts, or just laze in the sunshine and unwind.

Horse
Riding in Cyprus
Few places in the world can match the impressive variety
of Cyprus tourism: golden beaches, fertile plains, pine
forested mountains, ten thousand years of history and, of
course, the non-stop Mediterranean sun.
Horse riding offers the unique experience of exploring
the hidden secrets of Cyprus’ landscape. Enjoy the
sun and the breathtaking panoramas while riding at the Akamas
peninsula in the west, Kavo Greko National Forest Park in
the east or at the pine-scented Troodos Mountains in the
middle of the island. Ride along vine fields and valleys
with olive and carob trees, pass by old churches and monasteries
and picturesque small villages—each has its own tradition
and charm. Enjoy nature’s serenity, listen to the
birds singing and watch the amazing colours of the last
rays of the sun as it sets into the sea. A true awakening
of the senses!
This popular sport can be enjoyed all year round, due to
Cyprus’ perfect weather conditions at Horse Riding
Centres or Ranches, set in beautiful surroundings all over
the island. Riding lessons are also available at the Riding
Centres, which offer professional teaching facilities, well-trained
horses and qualified instructors who provide lessons for
all levels.
